Né en Haïti en 1961, chanteur, professeur, chercheur, compositeur, arrangeur, chef d'orchestre, Dickens Princivil a joué aux côtés des grands musiciens haïtiens, marqué son passage comme chanteur soliste dans la grande chorale de Sainte-Trinité: LA SCHOLA CANTORUM ainsi que dans VOIX ET HARMONIE. il compte plus de deux cents compositions de tout genre: de la musique classique à la musique folklorique. il fait son chemin en Haïti et à l'étranger. citoyen honoraire de la ville de Port-au-Prince et Ambassadeur culturel de bonne volonté de la capitale, il a fondé et dirige le Centre Culturel MUSIPHOTART depuis 1984.
